Catalogs for businesses

After you have signed up for your free business account you will be able to create catalogs of your products and services and share them with your followers. Your followers and the Marketplace community will be able to browse the items in your catalogs, check out their prices, and, very soon, even buy directly from your catalogs. What's the Difference Between Personal and Business Catalogs?

Personal catalogs can be created by any user who has signed up for a Marketplace account. They allow you to collect and organize places and local businesses that you love or wish to collect for any other reason you see fit.

Business catalogs, on the other hand, can be created by users who have signed up for a Marketplace business account as well. They allow you to display your products and services to your followers and the Marketplace community at large. People searching Marketplace for products and local businesses will be able to see them in the search results, browse them, and share them with their friends and followers.

How Do I Create Catalogs and Add Places to Them?

Personal catalogs

Creating your catalog is easy to do, and there are two ways to go about it.

One way

After you are signed in, find the main navigation menu located at the top right area of the page and click where it says "Add". You will then see and click a menu link that says "Create a Catalog" as shown in the image above ( on laptops and desktops and on most mobile devices).

Near the bottom of the page you're taken to (Click here to open the page in a new tab) you will see a big yellow button that says "Create a catalog". A small popup will appear with simple instructions to help you complete the process. Once done, click the "Create" button at the bottom of the popup.

Your catalog has now been created! You will then be taken to a page where you can start adding places and local businesses to your newly created catalog. Simply click the big yellow "Add a place" button on that page and follow the simple instructions to complete the process.

The other way

When visiting any Marketpage (example ) or any page for a local business or place listed on Marketplace (example ), you will see a button that says "Add to catalog" near the top of the page.

A small popup will appear when the button is clicked, asking you to select the catalog you wish to add the place or business to. If you wish to add it in a completely new catalog, you can create the catalog right there on the fly.

Just follow the rest of the simple instructions to complete the process.

How Do I Create My Business Catalogs and Add Items to Them?

Catalogs for businesses

When you're on your Marketpage, find and click the button that says "Catalogs" (highlighted in light green above) among the main navigation buttons for your page. On the catalogs page, you should see a yellow button that says "Create a new catalog".

Click the yellow button and follow the simple instructions to create your catalog.

When your catalog has been created, you will be taken to a page where you can start adding related items to the catalog. Click the yellow "Add a new item" button near the top of the page and a popup will appear, where you can fill out all the details about the item.

Just follow the simple instructions to complete the process.
